Problems And Countermeasures of Using One-time Blood Collection-Part 1

(1)    The blood collection needle slips out of the blood vessel. After successfully punctured, need one hand to held tail needle of blood collection device and one hand held vacuum blood collection vessel for blood collection. The hand handle is easy to slide left or right, resulting in the needle slipping out of the blood vessel and causing blood collection failure. Measures: After successfully punctured, fix the needle handle with tape immediately to prevent the needle handle from sliding, and then blood collection can be assured.

(2)    The tail needle falls off or the tail needle and the hose seat leak blood, resulting in blood waste. Measures: Connect the hose seat to the tail needle firmly before blood collection, and fix the hose seat tightly with the middle finger of the tail needle holder during blood collection.

(3)    Blood vessels deflated and collapsed during blood collection. After the vacuum collection vessel is connected, the blood vessel will be deflated and collapsed due to the greater negative pressure in the tube for a moment, and the needle will be close to the blood vessel wall, resulting in blood collection difficulties or blood collection failure. Measures: Try to choose adequate blood volume, straight blood vessels.
